Speed... Almost everyone has fascinated by speed, simply because high speed gives chilling and thrilling experiences. We enjoy it to some extent. But be aware of its disastrous nature. In this post I would like to share about the fastest man-made aircraft. I guess… you all know it… Concord, was concord your answer? Concord is 1.5 times faster than sound and it is the fastest passenger air carrier. The Concord does not fly anymore because it was too expensive and make sound pollution.
In1960’s US military has been introduced by a Mach 3+ strategic reconnaissance aircraft. And it is SR71 “Blackbird”. Since 1976, SR 71 blackbird has held the world record for the fastest air-breathing manned aircraft. It is 3 times faster than sound. Lately it got a nick name called Habu. It is the fastest air craft ever operated by a man.
